What is the difference between transport only and all-inclusive?

Transport only is the private drive from Pakse to the islands, priced per vehicle from $130. You explore on your own and pay the local boat and entrance fees yourself. All-inclusive tours add the boats, tuk tuk tour, meals, entrance fees and a set itinerary, priced per group on request.

What does the transfer cost, and is it per person?

It's per vehicle, not per person, for up to 6 people. One way is $130, round trip on the same day is $145, and a 2-day round trip returning the next day is $190.

Does the transfer include the boat to the islands?

No. On a transport-only booking the driver takes you to the boat landing, and you pay the short local boat crossing on the spot. On the all-inclusive tours, all boat transfers are included.

Can I be dropped on the islands instead of returning to Pakse?

Yes. The one-way transfer drops you at the islands so you can stay on. Many travellers use it to continue toward Cambodia or to spend a few nights on Don Det or Don Khone.

What's included in the 2-day all-inclusive tour?

A night on Don Khone with dinner and breakfast, lunches on both days, all boat transfers, the tuk tuk island tour, a sunset boat, a bicycle to explore, entrance fees, water and WhatsApp assistance. The 1-day tour covers the same sights without the overnight, sunset boat or bicycle.

What is the cancellation policy?

A small deposit secures the booking. It's refundable up to 30 days before departure, less a $15 administration fee. Within 30 days of departure the deposit is non-refundable.
