Tad Fane
Fly above the Bolaven Plateau for a bird's eye view of Tad Fane's twin waterfalls. The line runs across the forest canopy, the falls and jungle spread out below. A fun, adrenaline-filled way to see Tad Fane from an angle almost nobody gets to.
Tad Fane
Two ways to get closer to the water at Tad Fane. Waterfall Rappelling (1h30): descend around 500 metres alongside the waterfall, through jungle and running water, from age 8, medium difficulty. Whitewater Rafting (2h): paddle around 5 km through rapids and forest in a raft for 4 to 6 people, from age 8, medium difficulty.
Tad Lo
A half-day walk through the Tad Lo area, around 4 hours through forest, rice fields and local villages. Pass the main waterfalls around Tad Lo, meet people in ethnic villages, and hear about local life from an English-speaking guide. Starts in the morning from the Tad Lo Tourism Office, back by afternoon, with an optional lunch stop by Tad Soung.
Tad Lo
Cook traditional Lao food with Nyay in Tad Lo. Learn about local ingredients and cooking methods, then prepare the dishes yourself alongside a local cook. Choose a morning or afternoon session, cook a full meal, then sit down and eat what you made together. Vegetarian options available on request.
Tad Lo
A hands-on introduction to one of the region's traditional crafts. Over about 4 hours, learn how the loom works and the techniques behind handmade textiles. A relaxed way to meet local people and understand Katu culture through a skill passed down for generations. In Tad Lo, reachable on foot, easy to combine with other village activities.
Paksong
Learn how coffee is grown and made in Laos, from planting and local varieties to harvesting and the processing done around Paksong. Work alongside local producers on hulling, sorting and husk blowing, then roast your own coffee, brew it, and finish with a cupping and tasting. About 3 hours from start to finish, and you take your own roasted coffee home.

Learn how tea is grown and made in Laos, its history, local varieties, and the traditional processing done around Paksong. Work alongside local people through hulling, sorting and husk blowing, then roast your own tea, brew it, and finish with a tasting. About 3 hours from plant to cup, and you take your own roasted tea home.
